Knit Collage Pixie Dust Yarns

Tinkerbell had nothing up on these incredible balls of Pixie Dust! Some look good enough to eat, don't you think?

Knit Collage celebrates all things yarntastic! Their goal is to create fun, eccentric yarns for adventuresome knitters, ready to take their knitting into uncharted territories. Based in Hong Kong, Knit Collage uses the local trim market for all their creative sourcing needs. In their studio, bits of ribbons, sequins, flower appliqués, and sparkly tinsel are handspun into brightly colored wool and mohair fibers to create the one-off yarns.

The wool fibers come from Australian sheep and mohair via South Africa. Knit Collage currently employs 4 women from the Hong Kong Lady MacLehose Centre which helps underprivileged women, who would ordinarily have trouble finding work, to secure jobs in order to supplement their family incomes. What could be better than to knit with something so wonderful and know you are helping others at the same time?

Magical blends with special ingredients make each color totally unique! All colors contain wool, mohair and pixie sparkles. Antique Garnet and Peach Ginger also contain camel. Pomegranate Blossom and Snowflake also contain silk. Amethyst also contains yak. All are filled with lots of little surprises that are sure to make you smile as you knit and bring delight to your finished project.
