HPKY Hand Painted Knitting Yarns GIANT SKEINS are available in 40 colorways; 20 Rich and 20 Pastel. The colorways are named after Operas, just in case you are wondering. HPKY GIANT SKEINS are a very special collection of 12 different yarn types combined into one Giant Skein. When the Giant Skein is opened up you will discover 12 individual skeins of luxury yarns that were all hand painted simultaneously. Painting different yarn types side by side in the same colorway creates gorgeous yarns containing various fibers, structures, sheen, feel and appearance all perfectly color coordinated for your project. Approximate gauge is 4-6 Stitches on US# 5-7 needle, but we often use US #10-13 needles for some projects with great results.
